DSCPLND is a personal habit, workout and body-progress tracker. This page explains what the app stores, where, and how you stay in control of it.
What the app stores
- Account: your email address and a password hash, used only to sign you in.
- What you enter: habits and their logs (including optional notes and photos), workouts and sets, routines, daily weight, body-scan numbers you type in, progress photos, and reminder settings.
- Diagnostics: a short log of what the app did on your phone (for example "reminder scheduled", "sign-in", and any error), with the app version and iOS version. It is tied to your account, visible to you under Profile → Diagnostics, and deleted after 30 days.
The app does not collect location, contacts, advertising identifiers or analytics, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in a database and file store operated by Supabase in the EU (London region), encrypted in transit and at rest. Each record is tied to your account and protected by row-level security, so only you can read or change it. Nothing is stored on the phone except your sign-in session.
Photos and microphone
Camera and photo-library access is used only when you choose to add a photo; the photo is uploaded to your private folder in the file store. Microphone and speech recognition are used only while you dictate a journal entry; recognition runs on your device and no audio is stored or sent to us.
Apple Health
If you turn on Apple Health in Profile, the app reads your weigh-ins and workouts from the Health app on your iPhone and writes the weigh-ins you type back to it. Weigh-ins and the workout numbers you choose to attach to a session are stored with your other data; nothing else from Health leaves the phone. Health data is used only for these features, never for advertising, and you can turn the connection off in Profile or in the iPhone's Health settings at any time.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. They are not sent from a server.
Sharing and selling
Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train models. It is disclosed only if required by law.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, every record and every photo. You can also email the address below and we will delete it for you.
